Steve Jobs was an American entrepreneur and businessman. He was born on 24 February 1955 in San Francisco, California, USA and passed away on 5 October 2011 in Palo Alto, California, USA, aged 56.

He was best known for being the co-founder and CEO of Apple Inc, along with the Macintosh, iPod, iPad and iPhone. He began working for Atari in 1973, before he eventually set up his own company and spearheaded the first Apple Computer, alongside Steve Wozniak. His next venture was when he founded the company, NeXT Inc (1985-97) after he initially resigned from Apple Inc, and they eventually were taken over by Apple once again, with Jobs becoming CEO of the company. He was also a Chairman and investor of Pixar and a Board Member of The Walt Disney Company.
