Sheridan Smith is a British actress, singer and dancer. She was born on 25 June 1981 in Epworth, Lincolnshire, England.

She made her big break in the British sitcom television series, as Janet in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (2001-09) and has since had major roles in the following; as Cleo Martin in Love Soup (2005-08), as Michelle in Grownups (2006-09), as Rudi in Gavin & Stacey (2008-10) and even played the role of Cilla Black in the TV mini series Cilla. Alongside her television and film career, she has also performed on stage in many theatre productions, including Bugsy Malone and Legally Blonde. Some of her other acting work includes:-
