Sebastian Vettel is a German Formula One racing driver. He was born on 3 July 1987 in Heppenheim, West Germany.

He made his debut with Formula One as a test driver for BMW Sauber (2006-07), where he became the youngest to compete in a Grand Prix weekend. He had his first major victory at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix and has had a further 46 wins throughout his career. He has won 4 Championships overall and in succession (2010/2011/2012/2013) making him the youngest double, triple and quadruple world champion in Formula One. He has been part of the following teams; Toro Rosso (2007-08), Red Bull (2009-14) and Ferrari (2015-).

Awards and Achievements:

• Autosport Award for Rookie of the Year (2008)

• Earned the Silver Laurel Leaf for his multiple victories and his character (2011)

• European Sportsperson of the Year (2012/2013)

• BBC Overseas Sports Personality of the Year (2013)

• Holds the record for most wins in a season at 13 (2013)
