Ronnie Barker was a British actor, comedian and writer. He was born on 25 September 1929 in Bedfordshire, England and passed away on 3 October 2005 in Oxfordshire, England.

He began his career path performing in theatre during the late 40s to the late 60s, before moving on to radio. He made his television debut in a minor role on I’m Not Bothered (1956), making appearances and starring in many television roles throughout his career. He was best known for his partnership with fellow comedian Ronnie Corbett, performing together on television, including their own skit show for the BBC, The Two Ronnies (1971-87). His other prominent roles have been in comedy skit show, The Frost Report (1966-67), as Albert Arkwright in Open All Hours (1973-85) and as Norman Stanley Fletcher in Porridge (1974-77).

Ronnie Corbett was a Scottish comedian, actor, writer and broadcaster. He was born on 4 December 1930 in Edinburgh, Scotland and passed away on 31 March 2016 in London, England, aged 85.

After serving the RAF (1950-53) he began his acting career, performing on stage, film and television. He made his film debut in a minor role on You’re Only Young Twice (1952) and has gone on to appear and star in many television and film roles throughout his career. He is best known for his comedy double act, alongside Ronnie Barker, and had their own television series for the BBC, The Two Ronnies (1971-87). His other prominent roles have been in comedy skit show, The Frost Report (1966-67) as Ronnie in No, That’s Me Over Here! (1967-70) and as Timothy Lumsden in Sorry! (1981-88). He has also presented a game show called Small Talk (1994-96), was the main subject on the UK biographical documentary series, This Is Your Life (1970) and on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories (2009).
