Paul Daniels was a British magician and television presenter. He was born on 6 April 1938 in North Riding of Yorkshire, England and passed away on 17 March 2016 in Berkshire, England, aged 77.

He began his career path in performing magic at an early age, and what started as a hobby, became an opportunity for him to make it in show business. He performed his act across the UK in small clubs, and in 1970, made his television debut on the talent show, Opportunity Knocks, finishing as a runner up in the contest. During the late 70s, he had his own show for both ITV and the BBC and this would lead to his first long-running series on the BBC, The Paul Daniels Magic Show (1979-94). Amongst his main career, he has also appeared on various other television programmes, including:-
