Michael C. Hall is an American actor. He was born on 1 February 1971 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.

He began his career mainly working in theatre productions, such as, Macbeth, Camelot and A Midsummer Night's Dream to name a few and took to the stage in Broadway productions, such as, Cabaret and Chicago. His most notable roles have been as David Fisher in the television series, Six Feet Under (2001-05) and as Dexter Morgan in the American crime drama series, Dexter (2006-13).
