Malcolm MacDonald is a British retired football player and manager. He was born on 7 January 1950 in Fulham, London, England.
He spent the majority of his career with Newcastle United (1971-76), making 187 appearances, scoring 95 goals, is the teams fifth highest goalscorer in history and impressed fans in his debut against Liverpool by scoring a hat-trick. He played for the England national team (1972-75), making 14 appearances, scoring 6 goals and when they were up against Cyprus in 1975, he scored all 5 goals for his team, giving him the moniker of 'SuperMac'. He also played for teams such as, Luton Town (1969-71) and Arsenal (1976-79) and in 1980 he began managing his hometown team, Fulham (1980-84).
