Katarina Johnson-Thompson is a British professional track and field athlete. She was born on 9 January 1993 in Liverpool, England.

She began her professional career in 2009 and was trained by Mike Holmes. She has won gold medals at the Commonwealth Games (2018) whilst competing in the Heptathlon event, World Indoor Championships (2018) in the Pentathlon event, and the World Championships (2019) in the Heptathlon event. She holds the record for the British high jump, with an impressive 1.97m indoors (2015) and 1.98m outdoors (2016).
