Jodie Whittaker is a British actress, She was born on 17 June 1982 in Skelmanthorpe, West Yorkshire, England.

She made her television debut as Sam in an episode of The Afternoon Play (2006) and has gone on to appear in many television and film projects throughout her career. She is best known for her roles as Beth Latimer in Broadchurch (2013-17) and as the Thirteenth Doctor in Doctor Who (2017-). Some of her other acting work includes:-
