Jensen Ackles is an American actor and director. He was born on 1 March 1978 in Dallas, Texas, USA.

He began his acting career in 1996 with minor roles in Wishbone and Sweet Valley High, but his role as Eric Brady in Days of Our Lives (1998-2000) would make him relatively known. His popularity would grow over the years, taking on guest roles in many American television programmes, he even auditioned for the role of the young Clark Kent in the Smallville series which he was not chosen for. But his most successful role is as Dean Winchester in the television series, Supernatural (2005-) which has gained him a massive following. Some of his other acting work includes:-
