James Toseland is a retired British motorcycle racer. He was born on 5 October 1980 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
He has competed in many races during his career (1998-2011), winning the Superbike World Championship in 2004 and 2007. He has also competed in the MotoGP and Supersport World Championship races and then officially retired on 9 September 2011 due to a wrist injury.
