Denise van Outen is a British actress, singer, dancer and television presenter. She was born on 27 May 1974 in Basildon, Essex, England.

She made her big break presenting the Channel 4 morning entertainment show, The Big Breakfast alongside Johnny Vaughan in 1997-98, before pursuing her acting career in an episode of The Bill amongst others. But she made her biggest impact when she took to the stage in the West End, playing the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago in 2001 and would go on to continue her success in theatre with productions such as, Tell Me on a Sunday, Rent Remixed and Legally Blonde. Some of her other acting work includes:-
