Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She was born on 21 November 1985 in Mission, British Columbia, Canada.

She began her career path when she auditioned for season 5 of Canadian Idol (2007) and finished in third place in the competition. She released her breakthrough single, Call Me Maybe (2011) which reached number 1 in Canada, Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, UK and USA. She has released 4 albums; Tug of War (2008), Kiss (2012), Emotion (2015) and Dedicated (2019); She also released a further 20 singles, including Curiosity (2012), Good Time (2012), I Really Like You (2015) and Cut to the Feeling (2017).
