Benik Afobe is an English professional football player, born 12th February 1992 in Leyton, England.

Afobe currently plays as a striker for the Premier League Club, Bournemouth, signing with them on 10th January 2016. As a young player, he started his career with the Arsenal Reserves at the age of 16 and seemed to have great potential, scoring 20 goals of his 13 appearances with the club. This led to him signing a professional contract with Arsenal in 2010. Between the years 2010-2015, he has been on loan to various other clubs, Huddersfield Town, Bolton Wanderers and Milton Keynes Dons, whom he had a good run with. He then made the move up to the Football League Championship division, with Wolverhampton Wanderers on the 14th January 2015.

He has seen some success over his career, such as, Runner-up in the Football League One: 2014-15 (Milton Keynes Dons); UEFA European Under-17 Championship: 2010 (England) and the UEFA European Under-17 Championship Team of the Tournament: 2010 (England)
