Alison King is a British actress and model. She was born on 3 March 1973 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.

She made her television debut as Ruby, in an episode of the television series, Shine On Harvey Moon (1985) and has gone on to appear and star in some film and television projects throughout her career. She is best known for her roles as Lynda Block in Dream Team (1998-2007) and Carla Connor in Coronation Street (2006-). Some of her other acting work includes:-
