Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is a British actor of Nigerian descent. He was born on 22 August 1967 in Islington, London, England.

He made his television debut as Davis Bateman in Red Shoe Diaries (1994) and has gone on to appear and star in many television and film projects throughout his career. He is best known for his roles as Simon Adebisi in Oz (1997-2000), Mr. Eko in Lost (2005-06), Atticus in Pompeii (2014) and Killer Croc in Suicide Squad (2016).
